As the USC Trojans head to the Rose Bowl to battle the UCLA Bruins in the 82nd edition of their crosstown rivalry on Saturday, they will be televised by Fox with Gus Johnson on the call. It is the fifth time this season that Johnson has called a Trojans' game.
USC is just 2-2 with Johnson on play-by-play (along with analyst Charles Davis) this season.
The Trojans opened their season with an easy 49-10 home win over Hawaii on Fox on Sept. 1, then two weeks later USC was handed its first loss of the season, 21-14 at Palo Alto with Johnson behind the mic. The next Johnson game for USC came on Oct. 13 in Seattle, a 24-14 win over Washington. Then Johnson called the epic pinball game with Oregon, won 62-51 by the Ducks on Nov. 3.
Saturday's 12 p.m. PT game will also be broadcast on ESPN Radio nationally, with Bill Rosinski, David Norrie, and Joe Schad on the call.
