USC vs. UCLA: Matt Barkley implores Trojans fans for sportsmanship

Trojans quarterback Matt Barkley on Thursday asked USC fans to practice sportsmanship in their battle with UCLA on Saturday.

The No. 18 USC Trojans and No. 19 UCLA Bruins will face off on Saturday at the Rose Bowl, with the winner headed to the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday, Nov. 30. The week leading up to the game has led to both schools preaching sportsmanship from their students and fans.

Trojans quarterback Matt Barkley was the latest to remind fans to act civilly toward one another, in a video released by the school on Thursday.

"It's going to be a great weekend this Saturday, with the University of Southern California playing the UCLA Bruins. I just wanted to remind you to always display sportsmanship whenever possible at the Rose Bowl," Barkley said. "It is going to be an exciting, energetic environment, and just remember to represent USC in the best way possible. Fight on."

Saturday's 12 p.m. PT game will be televised by Fox, with Gus Johnson and Charles Davis on the call.
