USC Trojans quarterback Matt Barkley is prepping for his move to the NFL, as the senior has signed with CAA Sports agency, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.
CAA, which features agents Tom Condon, Ben Dogra and Jimmy Sexton, represents over 650 athletes in a variety fo sports, including football, baseball, basketball, hockey golf and more, as well as broadcasters and sports personalities.
Barkley injured his shoulder in the Trojans' game against the UCLA Bruins on Nov. 17, and was forced to miss the regular-season finale against Notre Dame, as well as the team's appearance in the Sun Bowl against Georgia Tech.
In a disappointing season that saw the preseason No. 1 Trojans finish 7-6, Barkley threw for 3,273 yards and 36 touchdowns, but also threw an uncharacteristic 15 interceptions.
The 22 year old is scheduled to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine this February, as well as the Trojans' annual pro day workout this spring.
