The USC Trojans got off on the right foot on Saturday with the demolition of Hawaii, but it was the duo of Matt Barkley and Marqise Lee that really shined.
Barkley's main target on Saturday Marqise Lee, and was from the very start of the game. Barkley found Lee on On the first play of the game from scrimmage with a short comeback toss, which Lee took to the house for 70 yard touchdown to put USC up 7-0. Lee also made the highlight reel after taking a kickoff early in the second half. Thanks to some great blocking on special teams, Lee burned past the competition, taking it all the way to the end zone.
It could be a start to an amazing season for Barkley and Lee, and the start of a long season for USC's opposing defenses.
