The Pac-12 has spoken: the days of the USC Trojans dominating the conference have returned.
During the Pac-12 media day on Tuesday, the preseason poll released by members of the media who cover the league was released with the Trojans as the overwhelming favorite to win the league championship, according to The Los Angeles Times' Baxter Holmes.
The Trojans received 117 out of 123 first-place votes to win the South Division, then secured 102 votes to Oregon's 18 to win the Pac-12 title game to be held on Nov. 30.
Utah, Arizona State and UCLA were the only other teams to earn first-place votes to win the South Division, even though the Sun Devils were picked to finish fifth overall out of six teams. Oregon secured 117 first-place votes to Stanford's five and Cal's one in the North Division.
