In a move that isn't all too surprising, USC quarterback Jesse Scroggins is taking his talents away from USC and will be trying himself out at another school next season. Garry Paskweitz of ESPN has more on the story.
The Lakewood product has spent most of the last few years sitting behind Matt Barkley, and with the younger Max Wittek and Cody Kessler lapping on Barkley's heels, there's a good chance that Scroggins might never see the field if he stuck around. It made sense for him to transfer and try a new place out and get a chance to see the field before his eligibility ran out. There will be plenty of places that would love to have a USC transfer quarterback on their roster.
USC is now down to 75 scholarship players on their roster.
