2012 NFL Mock Draft: Mel Kiper 4.0 Puts Nick Perry On The Green Bay Packers

Nick Perry of the USC Trojans is one of the most talented defenders in the NFL Draft, but no one really knows where he translates in the next level, which lowers his draft stock from the top of the mark to a low first round or high second round figure.

Mel Kiper released his latest mock draft, which can be viewed in its entirety (two rounds full) if you have an ESPN Insider account. Perry on the Green Bay Packers is what Kiper projects for the potential defensive end/linebacker tweener.

By the end of last season, the Packers were sacking quarterbacks at a rate that was the worst in the NFL. They simply have to find players who can create matchup problems for offenses often trying to play catch-up via the pass. Perry is another convert option, but the Packers can do a lot with their looks and find a place for a pass-rusher with his upside.
