Su'a Cravens of Vista Murrieta is one of those elite athlete/safeties who figures to be an immediate Pac-12 contributor. He might very well be the top recruit in the West when all is said and done.

Cravens has reportedly been a big fan of the USC Trojans, and he might be declaring soon too. That has to be a good sign for USC's hopes that the safety will declare their way.. Eric Sondheimer of the Los Angeles Times files this report.

Standout defensive player Su'a Cravens of Vista Murrieta announced on Twitter that he's going to make his college decision on June 6.

That's a bit of a surprise, since Cravens said he didn't want to rush things and wanted to be certain.

That probably means USC is in good position to land Cravens, though other schools are trying and he intends to take some unofficial visits.

Cravens has a lot of teams on his list other than USC, with teams like Arizona State, Nebraska, UCLA, Washington, Oregon and Ohio State.

To talk about Cravens with fans of any of teams of interest, go to Conquest Chronicles (USC), House of Sparky (ASU), Corn Nation (Nebraska), Bruins Nation (UCLA), UW Dawg Pound (Washington), Addicted to Quack (Oregon), and Along the Olentangy (Ohio State).
