USC Vs. Washington State Final Score: Trojans Lose 9th Straight Game, 43-38

This probably isn't the way the USC Trojans wanted to close out their Pac-12 regular season. In retrospect, it's certainly not been the season that USC hoped for. With their 43-38 home loss to the Wasington St. Cougars on Saturday afternoon, the Trojans closed out the regular season by losing their last nine games. All told, they went 1-17 in the Pac-12 and 6-25 overall. Their lone win in the conference came against the Utah Utes in late January.

Things once again went bad right away for USC on Saturday. They fell behind early and struggled throughout. They headed into halftime trailing by a score of 21-14. They outscored the Cougars 24-22 in the second half, but the damage had already been done.

Only one member of the Trojans managed to score double digits in the game, as guard Maurice Jones put up 11 points. USC shot just 28.9 percent from the floor during the game. Brock Motum of WSU led all scorers with 27 points.

The Trojans will enter the Pac-12 tournament on Wednesday as the twelfth seed.
