2012 NFL Mock Draft: Todd McShay Has Matt Kalil Picked By Minnesota Vikings

It's starting to feel like almost a formality that Matt Kalil will be the third pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. There's plenty of debate about who will be picked one or two between Andrew Luck of the Stanford Cardinal and Robert Griffin III of the Baylor Bears. The USC Trojans left tackle is almost certainly next up. When you have a bona fide left tackle who can come in and produce for you right up top, you might as well draft him.

Todd McShay of ESPN released his latest mock draft (you can view it here if you have an ESPN Insider account), and he, just like everyone else, has Kalil ending up with the team with the third pick, the Minnesota Vikings.

The most complete tackle I have evaluated in my time scouting prospects, Kalil has the athleticism to excel as a pass-blocker and the mean streak to be a force in the running game.
