The USC Trojans continued their season from hell on Thursday night, falling at home 80-58 to the Washington Huskies at Galen Center. Washington clinched at least a share of the Pac-12 Conference title with the win. The Trojans, however, dropped their eighth straight game, and have lost 17 of their last 18 games.
Byron Wesley scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead the Trojans (6-24, 1-16). Garrett Jackson added 14 points and five rebounds. Those two combined to make 16 of their 27 field goals (59.3%), while the rest of the Trojans made just seven of 24 shots (29.2%).
Terrence Ross had 18 points and seven rebounds for Washington (21-8, 14-3), and Darnell Gant added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Huskies, who shot 46.3% on the night. Washington outrebounded USC 49-23 on the night.
The Trojans end their regular season by hosting Washington State on Saturday afternoon.
