USC Trojans' wide receivers coach Ted Gilmore has reportedly accepted a position with the Oakland Raiders.

Gilmore spent only one season at USC, and came to the Trojans after leaving his post at Nebraska, where he coached receivers and was the recruiting coordinator since 2005. Before that, he was an assistant coach at Wyoming (1994-1996 graduate assistant/receivers/tight ends, 1997-1998 wide receivers), Kansas (1999 tight ends), Houston (2000 wide receivers), Purdue (2001-2002 wide receivers) and Colorado (2003-2004 wide receivers and assistant coach). He reportedly nearly joined Lane Kiffin's staff with the Raiders four years ago but instead chose to remain at Nebraska at that time. It looks like he's now getting his 2nd chance with that franchise.
Gilmore is the second USC coach to accept a job with a nearby NFL club, following linebackers coach Joe Berry, who left for San Diego.
