NFL Mock Draft 2012: Nick Perry To San Diego Chargers

The San Diego Chargers continue to have trouble surmounting their defensive woes, which could mean that they look in the draft toward finding a fix for their particular issues. One such problem that needs to be solved is their struggling pass rush, which has caused them woes in the past few years and slowed down their ability to disrupt opposing offenses.

So pass rush could be of importance, and landing a disruptive presence like Nick Perry could be the solution. Ryan Van Bibber released his latest mock draft, and the Chargers are the ones who end up taking Perry with the 18th pick overall in the 2012 NFL Draft. The explanation is below.

Since coaches aren't available in the draft either, the Chargers will turn toward fixing the pass rush, possibly admitting their mistake with Larry English. Perry has the speed to make things happen when attacking the quarterback. He did not play linebacker at USC, so it may take some time to get him up to snuff.
