Barry has informed the team, and several players have already taken to twitter to offer congratulations and express their regrets to see him go.
Hayes Pullard: "Congrats on your Decision. Love having you Teach me all the Ropes. Turn it up there in the NFL. See You Later...."
Dion Bailey: "Sad day.. I feel like crying.. Happy for him though !! Chargers get ready For the best coach ever !!"
The Trojans are known for producing NFL-caliber linebackers on a yearly basis and this last season proved that Barry knows how to coach the position, even to young players. Of USC's freshmen linebackers last year, Hayes Pullard started 12 games, Dion Bailey started 11, Lamar Dawson started three, and Tre Madden started once. Bailey and Pullard led the team in tackles. Impressive, and no doubt a big part of the reason that Barry is moving up to the NFL ranks.
