The UCLA Bruins may not have had everything go their way on the court this season, but they have some serious talent coming in next year that should benefit Ben Howland and the program greatly. One of those players is wing Kyle Anderson, who committed to the Bruins back in September. Anderson, who is 6'9 and currently playing at St. Anthony Prep in New Jersey, was selected for the Jordan Brand Classic earlier in the week.
Anderson will represent the East Team and will have some serious talent alongside him. While he is the only Bruin on the team, he will be teammates with Kaleb Tarczewski, who he will face off against at Arizona for years to come. In something to watch, Anderson will probably be matched up against Brandon Ashley of the West Team, who is also committed to Arizona.
Shabazz Muhammad, one of the best players in the 2012 class and a UCLA recruiting target, was selected for the West Team and will showcase his abilities on national TV. ESPN will have complete coverage from the event on April 14. Tipoff will come at 7 p.m. from Charlotte, which is 4 p.m. in Los Angeles.
