After many weeks of anticipation, National Signing Day 2012 is finally here. The nation's best and brightest high school athletes will sign their National Letter of Intent beginning on Wednesday, something that is always a thrill for the fans of each football program. One of the best remaining prospects out there is offensive tackle Andrus Peat, who is nationally ranked No. 32 by Rivals, and has more than 20 scholarship offers.
Many of the best football programs in the country tried to land Peat, but it appears the lineman out of Arizona has trimmed his list to four or five. Among the teams considered to be the favorites are the Stanford Cardinal, Nebraska Cornhuskers and your USC Trojans. Most experts believe either Stanford or Nebraska will sign Peat, although the Trojans have reportedly made up a lot of ground in recent weeks and received an official visit not too long ago.
You can find Andrus Peat making his final decision on ESPNU at 10:35 a.m. PT on Wednesday morning. Be sure to check it out.
