The USC Trojans are currently being projected to play in the Holiday Bowl against the TCU Horned Frogs on Dec. 27 in San Diego, Calif., according to SB Nation's own Jason Kirk.
The Holiday bowl is reserved for the third best team in the Pac-12 to play the fifth best team in the Big-12 but with the Oregon Ducks in line for the BCS Championship game, every other team in the conference gets a slight bump.
Since the Rose Bowl is forced to give up their best team for college football's biggest game, they get first dibs on any other at-large team and Kirk has them settling on Notre Dame. Kirk also projects Stanford to finish ahead of the Trojans and earn a visit to the Alamo Bowl against Oklahoma State.
As for the other Los Angeles program, the UCLA Bruins are projected to be the fifth best team left in the Pac-12 behind Oregon State. Kirk has them taking on Boise State in the Las Vegas Bowl in, you guessed it, Las Vegas, Nev. on Dec. 22.
