The USC Trojans (4-1) are 13-point favorites for their road contest against the Washington Huskies (3-2) Saturday afternoon.
The Trojans have won two straight conference games after dropping their Pac-12 opener against Stanford earlier in September. In their most recent 38-28 victory over Utah Thursday, Matt Barkley proved why he's in discussions as the a potential Heisman favorite with 303 yards and three touchdowns on 23-of-30 passing.
As for the Huskies, they are 1-1 in the conference with their most recent contest a 52-21 loss to the No. 2-ranked Oregon Ducks.
With Florida State, LSU and Georgia all losing this past weekend, USC saw a resurgence of their national title hopes and now sit at No. 11 in the AP Top 25. While Washington isn't anywhere close to being ranked, it's still important that the Trojans give a strong showing against their lesser opponents to prove they're still among the nation's elite.
Kickoff for this Pac-12 showdown is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST and the game can be viewed on FOX.
