The USC Trojans will be looking for their second straight conference win when they head to Salt Lake City and face the Utah Utes on Thursday night. The Trojans rebounded from their disappointing loss at Stanford to defeat the Cal Golden Bears in Week 4. The Utes are looking for their first conference win after being blown out by the Arizona State Sun Devils in Tempe. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT on ESPN. The Trojans defeated the Utes in Los Angeles last season after blocking a last-second effort at a game-winning field goal.
The UCLA Bruins will travel to the Bay Area to face the rival Cal Golden Bears on Saturday. UCLA went on the road and defeated the Colorado Buffaloes last week to earn their first conference victory of the season. The Bruins now sit at 4-1 overall. Cal is hoping for their first Pac-12 win to halt a three-game losing streak that has dropped its record to 1-4. The two teams will meet at 4 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks. The Bruins rushed for 294 yards in a 31-14 defeat of the Golden Bears at the Rose Bowl in 2011.
