UCLA vs. ASU score: Bruins lead by 2 early in 4th quarter

The UCLA Bruins lead the Arizona St. Sun Devils after three quarters in Arizona, 35-33. The second half has been a back-and-forth affair, with UCLA picking up two touchdowns and ASU two touchdowns of their own and a field goal.

Due to punter Jeff Locke informing the refs that UCLA would "kick" rather than "defer," ASU received the ball to start both halves. They picked up a field goal on their opening drive of the second half, but UCLA answered with a 65 yard Brett Hundley pass to Damien Thigpen, putting them up 28-20.

ASU then had a long drive for a touchdown, but Sheldon Price was able to prevent the two-point conversion to hold on to UCLA's lead. UCLA added another score on a nine play, 75 yard drive, and they ended the quarter up 35-26. ASU was moving the ball as the quarter ended, though, and early in the fourth they scored a touchdown to bring the game back within two.

Hundley is 14-for-22 for 214 yards, and Johnathan Franklin has 102 yards on 19 carries. The receptions have been spread around, with eight different players connecting with Hundley.
