The USC Trojans are 2.5-point underdogs at home against the Oregon Ducks for their Nov. 3 game, according to Oddsshark.com.
USC has struggled against the spread this year, only going 2-5 so far. They did beat the very steep 39-point spread against the Colorado Buffalos in a 50-6 victory on Saturday. USC has done the oddsmakers some favors at home this year, where they are 2-1 against the spread.
The game will feature a battle between one of nation's top offenses against one of the NCAA's better defenses. Oregon's defense is ranked second in scoring at 51.0 points per game. They also have the fourth-best rushing attack in the nation as well, averaging a shade over 317 yards per game. The Ducks' lowest point total was 42, against Fresno State.
The Trojans only allow 16.7 points per game, good for 18th in the nation. They've held opponents to 14 points or less five times this season.
