CBS Sports currently envisions the USC Trojans playing the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Rose Bowl as the Pac-12 champions, according to their most recent bowl projections.
With one loss already on their conference slate, this prediction means that they likely see the Trojans running the rest of their conference schedule with key victories over Oregon and Arizona State.
To get to the Rose Bowl, the Trojans would also have to either defeat the Ducks again or the Oregon State Beavers in the Pac-12 championship, so this projection is undoubtedly quite bold.
As for the rest of the conference, CBS Sports sees Oregon settling for the Alamo Bowl against the Texas Longhorns on Dec. 29. and Oregon State playing Oklahoma State in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27. Four other schools from the Pac-12 are expected to get a bowl as well with Stanford playing Miami in the Sun Bowl, UCLA facing Nevada in the Las Vegas Bowl, ASU taking on San Diego State in the New Mexico Bowl and Washington getting the honor of participating in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl against Navy.
