2012 Pac-12 football standings: USC now atop Pac-12 South

With USC's win over Colorado and Arizona State's loss to Oregon, the Trojans moved into first place in the Pac-12 South Division.

There wasn't a whole lot of movement in the Pac-12 standings following this past week's action.

The USC Trojans moved to the top of the Pac-12 South with their 50-6 win over the Colorado Buffalos. The UCLA Bruins remained in fourth place with a 2-2 conference record, as they didn't play last Saturday with a bye week.

Both the Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers remained undefeated in conference play. The Beavers are off to the best start in the 105 year history of the school.

The Utah Utes lost to Oregon State to remain winless in Pac-12 play. The Washington State Cougars are also 0-4 but had a bye week.

There might not be much shake-up in the conference this week either. Many of the top teams are taking on some of the lower rungs of the Pac-12. USC vs. Arizona, Colorado vs. Oregon, Washington State vs. Stanford and Oregon vs. Washington won't provide much movement.

The Bruins however can climb to second in the Pac-12 South and third overall with a win at Arizona State on Saturday.
