Two high-powered offenses are colliding as the USC Trojans open as eight-point favorites on the road against the Arizona Wildcats.
Both teams are coming off of big wins. USC quarterback Matt Barkley became the first quarterback in USC and Pac-12 history to complete 100 touchdown passes in USC's 50-6 win over Colorado. The Trojans had a big 39-point spread to cover and still made it with room to spare.
The Wildcats are coming off an impressive offensive showing as well, beating the Washington Huskies 52-17. Odds makers thought the game would be much closer than it was as the Wildcats completely blew by the eight-point spread.
The Wildcats are ranked 20th in the nation in overall scoring at 39.1 points a game. USC comes in at 34th at 34.9 points. At home, Arizona is one of the better passing teams. The Wildcats are ranked 10th in the nation at home passing, averaging close to 350 yards per game.
