USC vs. Washington: Matt Barkley, Robert Woods both have school records within reach

The senior quarterback and junior wide receiver have a very good chance of setting school and Pac-12 records in Saturday's game against the Colorado Buffaloes.

USC Trojans fans could witness history on Saturday as quarterback Matt Barkley and wide receiver Robert Woods are both poised to break school records.

Barkley is just three touchdowns behind the USC and Pac-12 career touchdowns mark of 99 held by Matt Leinart. He's also four touchdowns away from becoming the first quarterback in conference history to throw 100 touchdown passes in his career. The senior signal caller already holds the school records for most touchdowns in a season (39) and most touchdowns in a game (6).

Woods, who is only halfway through his junior season, is five catches away from breaking Dwayne Jarrett's all-time receptions mark of 216. The 20-year-old receiver was an All-American in 2011 and set the school and Pac-12 conference record in receptions with 111.

Kickoff for Saturday's game against the Colorado Buffaloes is scheduled for 3 p.m. PT at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and the game will be televised on the Pac-12 Newtwork.
