The USC Trojans' marketing department is already putting out advertisements for tickets to the Pac-12 Championship Game, Yahoo! Sports discovered. The problem? Lane Kiffin's team has only played in three conference games with six remaining, and the Trojans are not even atop the Pac-12 South.
USC's advertisement does account for the possibility of the Trojans not making the Pac-12 Championship. The fine print reads as follows:
"All reservations for the Pac-12 Championship Game are only if USC hosts the game in the Coliseum, and will be refunded if USC does not host."
The Arizona State Sun Devils lead the South Division with a 2-0 record in league play and the Trojans are 2-1 after dropping their conference opener to the Stanford Cardinal.
This week, USC plays a Washington team that fell from the rankings on Saturday against the No. 2 Oregon Ducks, and the Trojans play those Ducks on Nov. 3. Fellow Pac-12 South teams left on the docket include Colorado, Arizona, UCLA and ASU.
