USC Trojans WR Kyle Prater announced his intent to transfer from the university via Twitter on Monday.
Prater was the No. 1 rated receiver from the 2010 class according to Rivals.
Prater committed to USC in 2009 but hesitated after he found out that Pete Carroll was going to become the Seattle Seahawks new head coach. Prater decided to go through with his plans to enroll early at USC when Lane Kiffin was named USC's new head coach but redshirted his freshman year due to injury.
Rivals.com rated Prater as the #3 overall prospect in the class of 2010 and Scout.com rated him as the #4 overall prospect.. As a high school junior season he had 60 catches for 948 yards and 9 touchdowns and in his senior year he had 64 receptions for 1151 yards and 13 touchdowns.
