The coming week is relatively light on the college basketball front, at least locally, as a few of the teams play one another. The UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans face off Sunday night for their only game of the week, while West Coast Conference foes the Loyola Marymount Lions and Pepperdine Waves battle in Malibu on Thursday night. Here is a look at the schedule this week on the hardwood:
Thursday, January 12
7 p.m. - Loyola Marymount Lions at Pepperdine Waves (ESPNU): LMU looks for its third WCC win while Pepperdine seeks to snap a three-game losing streak.
7:05 p.m. - UC Davis Aggies at Long Beach St. 49ers: The 49ers look to stay undefeated in the Big West with a pair of home games next weekend.
Saturday, January 14
1:30 p.m. - Pepperdine Waves at San Francisco Dons: Pepperdine already beat USF at home, and look for the sweep with a road effort on Saturday afternoon.
4:05 p.m. - Pacific Tigers at Long Beach State 49ers (Prime Ticket)
5 p.m. - No. 25 Gonzaga Bulldogs at Loyola Marymount Lions (Root Northwest)
Sunday, January 15
6 p.m. - UCLA Bruins at USC Trojans (Fox Sports West): This is the only game for each school this week, and they wait until Sunday night for near prime time exposure. Former Trojan Harold Miner will have his number retired by USC.
