USC Vs. Arizona Game Score: Trojans Can't Shoot, Trail 32-16 At Halftime

The USC Trojans are looking for their first win in Pac-12 Conference play, and if the first half against the Arizona Wildcats at Galen Center was any indication, USC needs to look harder. The Trojans were absolutely outclassed in the opening 20 minutes on Sunday, and trail 32-16 at halftime.

Stop me if you've heard this before, but the Trojans had trouble shooting in the first half. USC shot a stunning 20.7% (six for 29) as a team, including 0-for-7 from three-point range. Maurice Jones led the Trojans with six points in the first half, and at 2-for-7 shooting Jones and Byron Wesley were the best shooters for the Trojans in the first half.

Jesse Perry scored eight points to lead Arizona in the opening half, while Solomon Hill added seven points. The Wildcats scored 20 points in the paint compared to just eight for the Trojans. Arizona also outrebounded USC 23-17

The Trojans have lost seven of their last eight games, shooting 37.0% during that span entering Sunday's game.
