USC Vs. Arizona State Basketball: Trojans Lose Again 62-53

Even with two starters and another rotation player not playing Thursday night due to team suspension, the Arizona State Sun Devils were too much for the USC Trojans to handle, picking up a 62-53 win at Galen Center. It was the fourth straight loss for USC, which fell to 0-3 in Pac-12 Conference play.

Arizona State (5-9, 1-1) shot a blistering 61.1% from the field, which must seem like a misprint to the Trojans. USC shot just 37.5% for the game, the seventh time in their last eight games and ninth time of the season that they have shot under 40% from the field.

Aaron Fuller led the Trojans with 14 points in defeat. Maurice Jones added 13 points and four assists for USC.

The Sun Devils suspended Keala King, Kyle Cain, and Chris Colvin for "unacceptable conduct" and they did not make the trip to Los Angeles for Thursday's game. Carrick Felix led ASU with 22 points in the win. Trent Lockett had 19 points and nine rebounds for the Sun Devils.

USC (5-11, 0-3) hosts Arizona on Sunday afternoon.
