USC Football Recruiting: Arik Armstead Will Announce College Decision On Sunday

Pleasant Grove high school lineman Arik Armstead has been one of the very top prospects in the country for a while now. The big senior made waves in November when he rescinded a previous commitment to become a member of the USC Trojans following graduation.

It was revealed last week that USC was back in the running for Armstead, with head coach Lane Kiffin among the many school representatives who would be paying a home visit to the All-American.

The latest news, according to Joe Davidson at The Sacramento Bee, is that Armstead is expected to announce his final college decision on Sunday. Other teams believed to be in the running for the player's services include the UCLA Bruins, the California Golden Bears, The Washington Huskies and the Oregon Ducks.

National Signing Day is on February 1 so for more updates in the last few days on Trojans recruiting, check out Conquest Chronicles.
