USC Football Recruiting: RB DJ Foster Narrows List

DJ Foster, a highly-touted RB from Scottsdale, AZ, has narrowed his list of schools to two: USC and Arizona State.

Foster has taken multiple visits to major programs, and recently traveled to USC's campus on January 13th.

Working in the Trojans favor is the potential for Foster to compete for a National Championship early on in his career, according to East Valley Tribune writer Kyle Odegard.

"The Trojans are making a late run, and the opportunity to compete for a national championship as a true freshman must be enticing." -- Kyle Odegard, on Foster and USC

Odegard went on to suggest that Arizona State remains the leader in the clubhouse for Foster's commitment because of its proximity to where he grew up, but signing Foster would be a major boon for USC head coach Lane Kiffin.

Foster was a MaxsPrep All American in 2011 and rushed for over 3,000 yards in his senior season, as well as breaking the state single-season record for touchdowns with 60.
