2012 NFL Mock Draft: Mel Kiper Has Nick Perry To The Tennessee Titans

Nick Perry of the USC Trojans will be one of the top picks in the 2012 NFL Draft because he is among the best pure pass rushers available. Teams in the NFL that couldn't sack the quarterback will be making a go for Perry if he proves to be as good as he looks now.

Mel Kiper of ESPN puts Perry halfway in the first round, putting them 20th in the first round of the NFL Draft. Kiper has them going to the Tennessee Titans. "Tennessee's pass rush was really bad this season; the Titans got to opposing quarterbacks on just 4.52 percent of drop-backs, a rate that was 31st in the NFL," Kiper said. "Perry probably could add some bulk to his frame, but his instincts as a pass-rusher are in place and the Titans certainly need the help."

Indeed, the Titans definitely need to upgrade their pass rush, and it would make sense to get a dynamo weapon like Perry harassing opposing quarterbacks in the pocket.
