NFL Mock Draft 2012: Nick Perry Projected No. 20 Pick To Tennessee Titans

There are few defensive linemen in the 2012 NFL Draft as talented and gifted as USC defensive end Nick Perry. Armed with great technique, impressive athleticism for a player of his size (6'3, 250) and a great motor, just about everyone views Perry as a first round draft pick. As for where he might end up, the most recent SI.com mock draft has the junior out of USC heading to Tennessee.

20. Tennessee Titans -- Nick Perry, DE, USC
The Titans ranked 31st in the NFL with just 28 sacks last season. Perry had 9.5 sacks as a junior and could move up in the draft process as teams study his work at USC.

It will be interesting to see if Perry does indeed move up the draft boards, something that is pretty likely to happen given his potential to be a star at the next level. As for the Titans, in addition to defensive line help, the team could also look to draft a wide receiver in the first round to give Jake Locker a target down the field.
