Oaks Christian teammates wide receiver Jordan Payton and cornerback Ishmael Adams are teammates that could be teaming up at he next level. But considering the schools they're looking at, there appears to be very little intersection.
Adam Gorney of Rivals reports ($) that Payton will be taking visits to three schools in the Midwest--the Michigan Wolverines, Penn State Nittany Lions and Oklahoma Sooners. Payton says that'll he take two other officials, and one of them is likely to be Cal (as Payton had previous suggested that the Bears along with Michigan were in his top two). It could be that Payton is only exploring Penn State and Oklahoma to take advantage of official visits, but you can never count out these schools.
Gorney also reports ($) that Adams still has the same two schools that he had originally--the California Golden Bears and the UCLA Bruins. You can see that if Payton and Adams want to play together at the next level, only Cal matches. So it's quite possible the two will diverge in where they'll end up playing their college ball.
