The USC Trojans beat the Utah Utes 23-14 on Saturday night in Los Angeles, but that wasn't enough to vault them back into the AP poll top 25. The college football rankings were released on Sunday, and USC moved up from No. 28 to No. 27 in the Associated Press poll. The Pac-12 has three teams in the top 25, led by No. 6 Stanford.
Here is the Associated Press poll top 10, which is slightly different from last week, as LSU and Alabama flipped for the second consecutive week:
- Oklahoma Sooners (32 first place votes)
- Alabama Crimson Tide (nine first place votes)
- LSU Tigers (17 first place votes)
- Boise St. Broncos (two first place votes)
- Florida St. Seminoles
- Stanford Cardinal
- Wisconsin Badgers
- Oklahoma St. Cowboys
- Texas A&M Aggies
- Nebraska Cornhuskers
In addition to No. 6 Stanford, the Pac-12 is represented in the top 25 by No. 12 Oregon and No. 22 Arizona State. The Sun Devils moved up from No. 26 after beating No. 21 Missouri at home on Friday.
