Zena Edosomwan (PF, Northwest Hollywood) Offered By Cal And Wake Forest

The California Golden Bears and Wake Forest Demon Deacons are looking for a reliable power forward in 2012. Cal has already received a commitment from Kalieb Rodriguez and Wake Forest found a center from Andre Washington. Both of them have cast their eyes to another big man starting to emerge from North Hollywood, California.

Both Cal and Wake Forest have offered Zena Edosomwan from Harvard Westlake, reports Josh Gershon of Scout. Edosomwan already has offers from schools like Arizona State, Colorado, Gonzaga, Harvard, Maryland, Missouri, USC, and Washington State.

Here are the rankings from the major recruiting services.

  • Rivals: 31st best power forward, 114th best player in the class.
  • ESPN: Grade of 92, 21st best power forward.
  • Scout: 4 stars, 11th best power foward

Did Cal and Wake Forest wait too long to get into the game? Edosomwan doesn't have a leader right now, so he might have an open mind, but I'd imagine the Trojans would love to land him. His defensive mindset and rebounding ability fit right into Kevin O'Neill's system.
