For the last few years, it has been easy to ignore the play-in round of the NCAA Tournament. In all the brackets I have ever filled out, I never included the play-in game. However, that was with one play-in game, with two teams fighting for a No. 16 seed. This year, there are four play-in games, and the USC Trojans are involved, so it's time to figure out what channel truTV is on my cable system.
↵The last time this many Los Angelenos watched truTV has to be the O.J. Simpson trial, back when the station was known as Court TV. There are two games on today's March Madness schedule, beginning with Alabama St. vs. Texas-San Antonio at 3:30 p.m. PST. There is a pregame show at 3 p.m., with Ernie Johnson, Clark Kellogg, Seth Davis, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley, and a studio show in between games as well.
↵The tip-off from Dayton for USC vs. VCU is scheduled for 6:10 p.m., but it will be roughly 30 minutes after the first game ends. Gus Johnson, Len Elmore, and Marty Snider are on the call. The winner faces Georgetown in Chicago at 6:50 p.m. PST on Friday.
