Gambling's greatest week of the year is upon us, as the 2011 NCAA Tournament bracket has been set. This year is the first time the field has 68 teams, with a total of four play-in games (the NCAA wants to call that the "first round," but good luck with that). The USC Trojans play one of those play-in games, against the Virginia Commonwealth Rams on Wednesday night at 6:10 p.m. on TruTV. USC is battling for the right to be a No. 11 seed, which would get them a game on Friday night against Georgetown in Chicago.
↵Meanwhile, the UCLA Bruins, despite their early departure from the Pac-10 Tournament, nabbed a No. 7 seed, and will battle the Michigan St. Spartans on Thursday at 6:20 p.m. PST. A potential second-round matchup with Florida looms for the Bruins, a battle with the team that eliminated the first two of Ben Howland's three UCLA Final Four teams in 2006 and 2007.
