Jaydon Mickens Decommits From USC Football

As suspected, Dorsey wide receiver Jaydon Mickens is starting to look elsewhere for where he wants to play his college football. Mickens has decommitted from the USC Trojans and will probably play football somewhere else on the West Coast.

USC has huge scholarship restrictions, so they have to be very selective about the type of players they take on. Mickens committed to USC early, but his hold on his verbal was always very low. The Trojans can only take a very small class, and they have a lot of big targets. Mickens also probably looked at the deep pool of USC players and realized his chances of playing in Los Angeles were probably low compared to some of the other big schools.

Mickens supposedly has schools like the Washington Huskies and the Oregon Ducks on his radar, and the California Golden Bears will be getting a visit soon. They will be getting a great talent; check out the video highlights below!
