College Football Rankings Week 15: Oklahoma State Narrowly Edged By Alabama For No. 2 in Coaches Poll

With college football fans waiting around with faded breath to see where their favorite teams may be playing their bowl game this winter, the USA Today/Coaches Poll for week 15 left LSU and Alabama as the top dogs in the country once again, though the Oklahoma State Cowboys are nipping at their heels.

Ok-State comes in at No. 3 after their impressive victory over Oklahoma for the Big-12 Championship Sunday night, only 32 points behind Alabama for the second spot. The Stanford Cardinal (No. 4) and Oregon Ducks (No. 5) fill out the top five, with the Ducks getting the bid for the 2012 Rose Bowl after demolishing UCLA for the Pac-12 title, and will face the now No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers. Boise State, Arkansas, South Carolina and Kansas State round out the rest of the top 10.
