USC Trojans Take Jabs At UCLA While Watching Pac-12 Championship Game

It has to be a little unsettling for USC Trojans players to be sitting at home watching the inaugural Pac-12 Championship Game. After all, the Trojans did finish with the best record in the South Division, but they are ineligible for postseason play thanks to actions of players and coaches who are no longer with the university. So it's understandable that some Trojans have voiced their displeasure at Oregon vs. UCLA.

Normally one might roll their eyes when a punter opens his mouth, but Kyle Negrete did score a touchdown this season so maybe he is allowed to say this:

Tonight's PAC-12 matchup is between two teams we already beat. And one of those teams doesn't even belong on the field. So weak. Fight On

USC quarterback Matt Barkley also chimed in:

No power = No Pac12 Championship game. Prob won't be missing much..

You can't blame UCLA for being at Autzen Stadium Friday night, even if they are getting blown out. It wasn't their fault USC was ineligible this season. The Bruins had the best conference records among eligible teams in the South Division, so they absolutely deserve to be playing for the conference title.
