USC Trojans Basketball Looks For Rebound Against Georgia

USC has scored 81 total points in their last two games.

The USC Trojans look more some much needed offense on Saturday night, but more importantly look to snap a two-game losing streak, hosting the Georgia Bulldogs at Galen Center. USC has scored just 81 total points in their last two games.

The Trojans have had a light December schedule to date, as this is just their third game of the month. However, USC has a busy home slate this week with games against Georgia, TCU, and Kansas at Galen Center before Christmas weekend.

USC is allowing just 54.3 points per game this season, seventh best in the country, and have held all 10 opponents to 66 points or less for the first time in school history since 1948. Opponents are shooting just 37.9% against the Trojans. Unfortunately, USC is scoring only 53.7 points per game, including 40 and 41 in losses to Minnesota and New Mexico the last two Saturdays.

The Bulldogs (4-5) are led in scoring by freshman guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is scoring 13.4 points per contest this season. Maurice Jones leads the Trojans at 15.1 points per contest and has played in 396 of a possible 410 minutes this season, leading the nation in minutes.

Saturday's 7 p.m. PST game will be televised by Prime Ticket, with Steve Physioc and Marques Johnson on the call. For more USC hoops news and information, be sure to read Conquest Chronicles.
