College Football Rankings Week 11: Where Will USC End Up In The AP Poll?

Seven teams in the AP top 25 lost on Saturday.

The USC Trojans had a  42-17 blowout victory over the Colorado Buffaloes on Friday night in Boulder, and the Trojans look to climb higher in the Associated Press poll when the latest college football rankings are released on Sunday. Last week, the Trojans fell to No. 21 in the AP poll after their loss to Stanford, but thanks to some losses in the top 25 USC could end up with their highest ranking of the season.

Seven teams in the AP top 25 lost on Saturday:

  • No. 2 Alabama lost at home, 9-6 to No. 1 LSU
  • No. 9 Nebraska lost at home, 28-25 to Northwestern
  • No. 10 South Carolina lost on the road, 44-28 to No. 8 Arkansas
  • No. 13 Michigan lost on the road, 24-16 to Iowa
  • No. 17 Kansas St. lost on the road, 52-45 to No. 3 Oklahoma St.
  • No. 20 Arizona St. lost on the road, 29-28 to UCLA
  • No. 24 West Virginia lost at home, 38-35 to Louisville

The highest ranking of the season for the Trojans was No. 20, which they achieved on October 23 after beating Notre Dame in South Bend. USC is ineligible for the USA Today coaches poll this season.
