1 - The number of times Barkley was sacked Friday, bringing the total to five on the season through nine games.
4 - The number of different Trojans to lead the team in rushing yards this season. True freshman Amir Carlisle ran for 88 yards on just 10 carries, including runs of 26 and 15 yards.
5 - Trojans making their first start of the season: tailback Curtis McNeal, linebackers Tre Madden and Lamar Dawson, and safeties Drew McAllister and Marshall Jones.
6 - The number of touchdown passes by Barkley to set a new school record. Barkley was one of five USC quarterbacks to throw five touchdowns in a game, which he did three times before Friday night.
