USC 42, Colorado 17: By The Numbers

Matt Barkley and the USC Trojans cruised to a 42-17 win Friday night over the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field in Boulder. Here is a look at some notable numbers from Friday night's college football contest:

0 - The number of losses USC has against Colorado in their six meetings. Also, the number of Pac-12 conference wins by Colorado so far in their first season in the conference.

1 - The number of times Barkley was sacked Friday, bringing the total to five on the season through nine games.

4 - The number of different Trojans to lead the team in rushing yards this season. True freshman Amir Carlisle ran for 88 yards on just 10 carries, including runs of 26 and 15 yards.

5 - Trojans making their first start of the season: tailback Curtis McNeal, linebackers Tre Madden and Lamar Dawson, and safeties Drew McAllister and Marshall Jones.

6 - The number of touchdown passes by Barkley to set a new school record. Barkley was one of five USC quarterbacks to throw five touchdowns in a game, which he did three times before Friday night.

8 - Catches by Robert Woods, at a minimum, in eight of nine games this season, including nine catches for 132 yards tonight. The only game in which Woods had less than eight catches was October 20 against Cal when he caught five for 36 yards.

10 - Catches by true freshman Marqise Lee, a new personal best. Lee had 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

13 - Number of times a USC player has had 1,000 receiving yards in a single season, including Woods in 2011.

20-21½ - The point spread for Friday night's game, depending on your gambling outlet of choice, per Odds Shark. With the 25-point victory, USC covered the spread and is 5-4 against the spread this season.

31 - First downs for the Trojans on Friday night, the most they have had in a game all season.
