USC Vs. Colorado: Robert Woods Continues Record Season

Matt Barkley was the main story on Friday night as the USC Trojans rolled to a 42-17 win over the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field in Boulder. But his receivers were spectacular too, as Robert Woods and Marqise Lee were getting open with ease against a beleaguered Buffaloes secondary.

Woods caught nine passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns, and continued his record pace. He only has one game this season with fewer than eight catches, and through nine games is already near the very top of the all-time USC single-season reception list.

Johnnie Morton 1993 13 88 1,520 14
Mike Williams 2002 13 81 1,265 14

Woods is in line to pass both Dwayne Jarrett and Mike Williams next week against Washington.

The freshman Lee is emerging as a star in his own right. Lee caught two touchdowns of his own Friday night, along with his 10 catches for 129 yards. Lee has 31 catches for 484 yards and five touchdowns in his last five games. On the season, Lee is second on the team with 44 catches, 663 yards, and seven touchdowns.
