Matt Barkley was the main story on Friday night as the USC Trojans rolled to a 42-17 win over the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field in Boulder. But his receivers were spectacular too, as Robert Woods and Marqise Lee were getting open with ease against a beleaguered Buffaloes secondary.
Woods caught nine passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns, and continued his record pace. He only has one game this season with fewer than eight catches, and through nine games is already near the very top of the all-time USC single-season reception list.
