PHOTO: UCLA Football Mock Potential All-White Uniforms Vs. USC

The UCLA Bruins had a nice thing going when they decided to pop off their home uniforms against the USC Trojans the past few seasons. The contrast between Bruin blue and gold and Trojan cardinal and yellow was striking, and it provided for some great shots in-game.

That's why it's a bit surprising that UCLA is moving away from the look to debut a new look. UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero discusses it on his blog. Hat-tip to Bruins Nation for relaying the info to us.

There have been rampant rumors out there recently that our football team might be sporting a special look when they take the field for the USC game on Saturday evening. I can confirm that those rumors are indeed true. We will be unveiling a uniform that we have been working on with the adidas design team for several months. These new uniforms will provide us with an alternative to our existing road uniforms but will not replace them in perpetuity. That said, I’m not going to tell you everything in this blog – but look for hints the remainder of the week by liking UCLA Athletics on Facebook or following @UCLAAthletics on Twitter

Based on the Twitter update, it's looking like all-whites. Which I guess is cool, even if it's kind of gimmicky, especially for the big rivalry game.

Jtthirtyfour at Bruins Nation designed what could be a potential knock-up of the new unis. What do you think of the look?
