As the USC Trojans prepare for the Colorado Buffaloes, they will have to deal with a number of injuries, not to mention a few suspensions as well.
The biggest news out of Wednesday practice was about the team's running back situation, as broke down by Dan Greenspan on Twitter:
Tyler re-injured his shoulder during the Stanford Game this past Saturday after only carrying the ball once for three yards. Maybe they're trying to save him for their upcoming games as Colorado hasn't had the best of seasons thus far, or just erring on the side of caution.
The Orange County Register's Michael Lev tweeted that outside linebacker Dion Bailey practiced with the team today but has not been fully cleared to return completely. Bailey has been dealing with a concussion and hasn't passed the post-concussion testing yet, though can take part in some practice activities.
AP's Greg Beachum tweeted that safety Jawanza Starling missed his second straight day of practice, meaning that the Trojans may have only two backup safeties to suit up with T.J. McDonald suspeneded.
