USC Vs. Washington Moved Up To 12:45 On FX; Gus Johnson Is Coming To LA

The USC Trojans don't have much time to rest after facing off with the Stanford Cardinal in the Coliseum. After a short week to prepare for the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder, they have to come back and tangle with Steve Sarkisian and the Washington Huskies. The game has been moved from the ESPN family of networks to FX to make room for the more nationally relevant Oregon-Stanford game and has been moved up from the original 12:30 start to 12:45. This should be of minor inconvenience to everyone involved.

More importantly to college football fans watching this game, Gus Johnson (primary FX broadcaster) will be on TV broadcasting this one. Anyone remember the last time Gus broadcast a big-time West Coast event in Los Angeles?

Answer: This ended up happening.

Gus has had some real duds to broadcast for college football lately. But USC-Washington has gone down to the final seconds two straight years. With Gus coming to town, who's to say it won't happen again?
