USC Vs. Colorado: Marc Tyler, Dion Bailey Hurting For Trojans

Marc Tyler ran for three yards on the first play from scrimmage for USC on Saturday, but aggravated his dislocated shoulder and did not return.

The USC Trojans look to rebound from their heartbreaking triple overtime loss to the Stanford Cardinal with a trip to Boulder, facing the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field on Friday night in a nationally televised game on ESPN. USC goes from playing the undefeated Cardinal to playing a Buffaloes squad that is winless in its first season in Pac-12 Conference play.

Tailback Marc Tyler ran for three yards on the first play from scrimmage for the Trojans on Saturday, but left immediately after that, having aggravated his dislocated shoulder. Tyler hasn't yet been cleared to play, according to Michael Lev of the Orange County Register.

Lev also reported that freshman outside linebacker Dion Bailey, who leads the team with 67 tackles through eight games, suffered a concussion against Stanford, and is day-to-day per head coach Lane Kiffin.

USC is 5-0 all time against Colorado, with their last meeting a 40-3 Trojans win at Boulder in 2002.

Friday's 6 p.m. PDT game will be televised nationally by ESPN, with Dave Lamont and Rod Gilmore on the call. For more USC football news and notes, be sure to read Conquest Chronicles.
